Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili to Visit Estonia

Prime Minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili will be on an official visit to Estonia on 8 and 9 September. The schedule for the visit includes meetings with the President Toomas Hendrik Ilves, President of the Riigikogu Ene Ergma, Prime Minister Andrus Ansip, Foreign Minister Urmas Paet, and Minister of Economic Affairs and Communications Juhan Parts.

Topics that will be discussed include bilateral relations, conditions in both countries’ neighbourhoods, Euro-Atlantic integration of Georgia, and the latest developments in Syria, Egypt, and the Middle East.

The prime minister of Georgia will also visit the ICT Demo Center, the Port of Muuga, and he will lay a wreath at the base of the Monument to the War of Independence.

The prime minister of Georgia will be accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs Maia Panjikidze, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Kvirikashvili, and State Minister for Euro-Atlantic Integration Aleksi Petriashvili.

Minister of Economic Affairs and Communications Juhan Parts and Georgia’s Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Kvirikashvili will sign an agreement on cooperation in the field of tourism between Estonia and Georgia.
