The United Kingdom's Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond will arrive in Estonia for a working visit

On Monday 23 February, Foreign Minister Keit Pentus-Rosimannus will meet with visiting Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs of the United Kingdom Philip Hammond for a working visit.

At the meeting, Estonian-British relations, including digital and cyber cooperation, will be discussed. The foreign ministers will also discuss important foreign policy issues – the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, the fight against ISIL and the future of the European Union.

UK Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond also plans to meet with the Chairman of the Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee Marko Mihkelson and Chairman of the Parliament’s European Union Affairs Committee Kalle Palling. The UK Foreign Secretary will also meet with the Commander of the Estonian Defence Forces, Lieutenant General Riho Terras and will lay a wreath at the foot of the War of Independence victory monument.
