12.01.2015

Foreign Minister Keit Pentus-Rosimannus will participate in tomorrow's unity march in Paris along with French leaders and the leaders of other countries in order to express support and solidarity with the people of France following this week's terrorist attacks and to stand for shared values and fundamental freedoms.

Foreign Minister Keit Pentus-Rosimannus said it is important that close allies and countries sharing and respecting the same values stand together in difficult moments. "Estonia supports France unequivocally, standing together for the same values and freedom of expression and opinion, which make up the foundation of democratic Europe. The tragic events of this week have affected us all," Foreign Minister Pentus-Rosimannus said, emphasising her heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims of the terrorist attacks.
