Georgian Foreign Minister to Come to Estonia for Official Visit

Georgian Foreign Minister Gregory Vashadze will be in Estonia for an official visit from 10-11 November.

The Georgian foreign minister has meetings scheduled with President Toomas Hendrik Ilves, Riigikogu Speaker Ene Ergma, Prime Minister Andrus Ansip, Foreign Minister Urmas Paet, and Defence Minister Jaak Aaviksoo.

Topics to be discussed at the meetings ate Estonia-Georgia bilateral relations, co-operation in the UN and the Council of Europe, European Union Eastern Partnership, and Georgia’s Association Agreement with the European Union. Other topics will be NATO-Georgia relations, the upcoming OSCE summit, and developments in Georgia and the Southern and Northern Caucasus.

Journalists, photographers and camera operators interested in covering the visit should be accredited no later that Tuesday, 9 November at 16.30 at the address centre@mfa.ee or by phone at 637 7630.
