New Latvian Foreign Minister to Visit Estonia

On Tuesday, 16 November, Foreign Minister Urmas Paet will meet with new Latvian Foreign Minister Ģirts Valdis Kristovskis, who will be in Estonia for a visit.

They will discuss Estonia-Latvia bilateral relations, Nordic-Baltic co-operation, energy and security matters, and European Union-Russia issues.

The new Latvian foreign minister also has meetings scheduled with President Toomas Hendrik Ilves and Prime Minister Andrus Ansip.

Foreign Minister Urmas Paet and Latvian Foreign Minister Ģirts Valdis Kristovskis will give a joint press conference in the Foreign Ministry’s press centre at 14.35 on Tuesday, 16 November.
